Organicals Fresh & Firm (Cleansing & Toning Complex) is an exclusive blend of aqueous extracts of various botanicals chosen for their cleansing and/or toning properties.

• Gotu Kola Extract: Healthy, Firm Skin. Gotu kola extract comes from the gotu kola plant, an herb that has a long history of use in India's Ayurvedic medicine, and grows native to India, as well as China, Africa, Sri Lanka, Australia and even certain parts of the United States. Gotu Kola is best known for promoting Healthy Skin and being a mild diuretic, lends its firming action to this blend.
• Geranium Extract: Anti-Inflammatory, Astringent. This well-known antioxidant also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it an excellent all-around inclusion. Extract of geranium is a powerful astringent, and, unlike tannic acid in its action, does not cause a dryness of the surfaces to which it is applied, but produces its toning influence upon them with the continuance of their natural moisture.
• African Violet Extract: Rejuvenating, Antibacterial. The Mbololo Forest in the Taita Hills in Kenya's Coast Province is what is known as a cloud mountain forest, its steep terrain bathed in cloud. Its moist habitat is home to a great many plant species. Among them, growing on cliffs and large rocks under the forest canopy, is a wild population of the Saintpaulia Ionantha species of African violets.
