Organicals AHA / BHA Clarifying Face Wash NG

Anti Aging and Anti Acne! Reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, creating firmer, youthful - looking skin, while also refining the pores for a clear, smooth, glowing complexion.

This cleanser contains alpha hydroxy acids (Glycolic at 10% and Lactic at 4%) to re-new and rejuvenate, along with beta hydroxy acid (Salicylic at the active level 2%) to cleanse and refine, with anti inflammatory agents to sooth and prevent irritation while removing excess oil and damaged skin, promoting new skin cell production and collagen formation for a healthy radiant glow. Formulated for normal to oily skin.

Glycolic and Lactic Acids are Alpha Hydroxy acids (fruit acids). Fruit acids are nontoxic naturally occurring substances that are found in a variety of fruits such as grapes, apples, sugar cane, and corn. Use of Organicals Glycolic products will improve oily and acne prone skin and decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Salicylic Acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid, which is very different from the exfoliation of the alpha hydroxy acids. Instead of being small like the AHA's they are large and get deep into the pores to dissolve the build up that leads to problem skin and inflammatory acne.

Directions: Apply a moderate amount to wet skin and gently massage to cover the entire face, avoiding lips and eyes. Rinse clean with water and pat dry. Follow with Organicals Glycolic Daily Toner or Clear Complexion Mist, thenAHA Skin Rejuvenating Lotion For Face & Body, Acne Solutions Derma Silk, Organicals First Defense Protective Moisture For Face, or Super Light Refining Serum to moisturize the skin. For best results incorporate Zinc Oxide Day Cream or some other protecting cream to complete the skin care regimen.

CAUTION::

It is important to know that this may cause a slight stinging and / or redness, until the skin gets used to the acids. If irritation develops, use every other day for a couple of weeks to acclimate the skin and then increase usage. If irritation continues, discontinue use, or use a neutralizing toner to bring the skin back to normal pH more quickly. You may also apply a 10% sodium bicarbonate solution to calm any irritation and rapidly alkalize the skin This product is not for those with sensitive / irritated skin.

Note that you must include the standard warning regarding the use of AHA and increased skin sensitivity to the sun as new skin is being exposed and the risk of sun burn / damage is higher.
