Jojoba Esters 70

Jojoba Esters 70 is a, natural, 100% Jojoba Oil derived interesterification of, long chain, jojoba fatty acids and alcohols. Jojoba Esters 70 contain no triglycerides, as such they are a true wax, and are, structurally, very close to human sebum and whale oil.

Jojoba Esters 70 offer a multifunctional approach to thickening emulsions and hardening sticks without additional waxes, while also improving the shelf life as they are highly resistant to oxidation. Like all esters they offer smoothness and glide, without greasiness or tack, in all applications, making them a great choice for emulsions as well as sticks, balms and salves where they add structure and can even be used to create silky oil gels, for skin care, without the complications of butters and other, conventional, thickeners.

Jojoba Esters 70 are also a great choice for, gentle, exfoliation where they'll offer physical removal of rough, dry, skin without damage.

Jojoba Esters 70 is an easy solution when you've created an emulsion that just doesn't feel very nice due to drag or 'soaping', which is where the cream / lotion turns white as you're rubbing it onto the skin and becomes difficult to get it absorbed.

Tip: to create an elegant after bath body gel add 15% Jojoba Esters, melt, and combine. This will create a gel that, is easier to smooth onto the skin and, is faster to absorb, leaving a silky feeling on the skin. This also makes a fantastic massage balm.
