EXFOLIATING CREAM::

OIL FREE!! In this botanical cream exfoliator, we set about to intentionally formulate a "gritty" emulsion in order to demonstrate the possibility of creating a very mild, cream abrasive for facial exfoliation. This is achieved by using an overabundance of emulsifiers. When creating exfoliating products to be used on the facial area, it is best to choose a mechanical exfoliant with a very small micron size, and if possible, a round spherical form. This is the form of Sil-GEL, a practically insoluble powder often used in toothpastes because it will effectively remove plaque without destroying enamel. The skin of the facial area is typically delicate, and "over-exfoliation" can cause broken capillaries and other undesirable effects. With a total of 8 ingredients in this formulation, it offers ease of formulation as well as economy.

Our Organicals Fruit Renewal Complex adds botanical appeal, as well as the renewing and moisturizing effects of natural fruit extracts. Isopropyl Palmitate is the emollient we chose, because it adds beautiful glide during application and leaves a nice skin feel after rinse-off.

Incroquat Behenyl TMS offers cationic conditioning in this cream, which is to be applied to the face and massaged for 1-3 minutes. Wipe clean with warm, wet cloth or rinse-off. Mild enough for daily use. Basic instructions and non basic ingredients give this formula a skill level of Experienced.
