Bamboo Powder is a world of difference from the common exfoliants because its fine enough to offer a gentle feel on the skin, yet effective exfoliation. This is the product you're looking for if you want to market a foaming scrub.

Bamboo is a very precious plant. It is an exotic reed stemming from Asia, which is now cultivated all around the world for decorative purposes. The bamboo powder is prepared from tabashir bamboo.

Bamboo Powder product is very interesting for its natural richness in silica, an essential element for its remineralizing (cartilage), anti-acne, anti-wrinkles and anti-cellulite activity

If you can not afford to make the entire product with Bamboo Powder then what we suggest is putting in 10% Bamboo exfoliant and use Dead Sea Salts fine for the rest. Since Dead Sea Salts are white you can have both in the scrub and there will not be a visual difference and you can still market it as a Bamboo Scrub.

For a conditioning scrub gel try adding 3 - 5% of one of the fatty acids or esters to your blend along with an equal weight of bamboo powder and sugar, Dead Sea Salts or one of our other exfoliants
