Refining (Alpha Hydroxy Acid's (AHA's))
Our Refining line is specifically developed to address the issues of dull, congested, and discolored skin. Each base will utilize a variety or combination of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's) to speed the shedding of the top dead layers of the skin to help restore smoothness, clarity, and glow. To some degree this line may also help with acneic skin types, especially acne scarring and discoloration.
Alpha Hydroxy Acids enhance both the surface and the supportive layers of skin. They offer deep cleansing of the pores to rid congestion as well as a refined surface while still providing moisturizers to keep the skin hydrated to avoid creating a condition of producing excess oil.
Depending on your level of skin trouble you may not need to follow the entire regimen. These products are all designed at active levels so you may want to incorporate one, or two, at a time to see if that is enough. All Refining products are designed synergistically.
Please note that our Pore Minimizing products are in this category however, they do not contain any Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's). The refinement offered through our Pore Minimizing Serum and our Pore Minimizing Cream is delivered through ceramide technology only.
